Christopher Reinhart is a history research assistant. He received his BA from the University of Indonesia (February 2020), majoring in history and minoring in Southeast Asia Area Studies. Christopher has worked as a research assistant for professors from the Australian National University (Prof. Pierre van der Eng), University of New South Wales (Prof. David Reeve), and Cardiff University (Prof. Gregor Benton). He is now a research assistant of Prof. Peter Carey and supports the research conducted for a new trilogy of books and text publications on the pre-twentieth century history of Greater Madiun (Madiun Raya, which includes Madiun, Magetan, Ngawi, Pacitan and Ponorogo). In addition, he is one of the coordinators of the digital platform on the 1741-1743 Chinese War. He is capable of reading Indonesian, Dutch and Javanese sources.
