I hold an MA in Dutch literature from Utrecht University. Providing access to cultural heritage is important to me. Within the KB digitisation has been and still is an important way to increase accessibility to our collections and to those of other institutions.
For me, the collaboration with our research partners perfectly embodies the vision of the KB on the power of the written word. Researchers want selections of the written word from our collections and our advice to answer their research questions. I like their curiosity and want to enable them to answer these questions.
Besides that, I try and recognize, explore, present, and implement new relevant techniques that are at service of the goals of the KB. At the same time this is a way of connecting the world inside and outside the organisation.
