Desmond Elliot is currently a researcher at the University of Edinburgh. He received his Ph.D from Edinburgh in 2014, before working as an ABCDE Fellow at CWI, and a researcher at the University of Amsterdam. His main research interest is models of visual and language.
He is a co-organiser of the Shared Task on Multimodal Machine Translation, and has delivered tutorials on vision and language at the 1st Integrating Vision and Language Summer School and the 54th Annual Meeting of the Association of Computational Linguistics.
