Antoine Peris is a PhD Candidate in the section of Urban and Regional Research at the faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of TU Delft, with a focus on the external relationships of cities. He is working on the diffusion of information between cities by looking at text data, and notably news items mentioning cities.
He graduated from a research Master in Geography at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, with a special focus on modelling and epistemology. During his studies, he has worked on the different theoretical approaches of urban systems since the 1960’s, and previously on the link between port traffics and the economic characteristics of their surrounding regions.
