Puck Wildschut is a PhD researcher in Literary Studies and lecturer in Cultural Studies at Radboud University Nijmegen. Her research focuses on blending linguistic, literary and neurocognitive insights in answering questions concerning narrative understanding and interpretation. Linked to this is an interest in the possibilities of computational methods for the study of literature and ways of reading.
Her project at the KB is a good example of this, where she worked with an expert team on an automatic detection and visualization tool for characters in texts, called Narralyzer. She has presented this and other research at conferences such as the International Conference on Narrative and DHBenelux and has published in the Journal of Literary Semantics.
