Mirjam Cuper, Data Scientist.
I have several years of experience in the area of data analysis and data science in different types of organizations. I am currently graduating for the master Business Process Management & IT at the Open University of the Netherlands with a thesis about process mining.
I work at the KB since 2019 and I am involved in various projects. One of the main projects I’m working on is the creation of a dashboard with visitor information from our webservers, based on logfile analyses. Furthermore, I am interested in digital heritage and optical character recognition (OCR) and I am part of a research group with a focus on improving OCR quality. As part of this project I am researching reliable ways to measure the OCR quality, even if ground truth is not available. In addition, I support the researchers of our researcher-in-residence project.
