The founding of AI4LAM: KB signs AI agreement with international heritage institutions

This past December, the KB joined over 40 international heritage and knowledge institutions in signing the founding of AI4LAM (Artificial Intelligence for Libraries, Archives and Museums). This signifies AI4LAM’s transition from an international cooperation between libraries, archives, museums and knowledge institutions into an independent organisation.

This new agreement sets out how institutions will share knowledge, data and tools, and how they will collaborate on developing and sharing responsible AI applications for the heritage field.
